How to switch meal planners without losing your grocery list

What actually moves

Mealime does not transfer into Carby. Mealime preferences also do not carry into Meals Hub automatically; you set them again. eMeals, Plan to Eat and The Dinner Daily each keep recipes inside their own account. Carby does not import those accounts.

What you can move by hand: this week’s dinner names, a screenshot of the shopping list, and the diet rules you already know (no nuts, gluten-free, four people, $80).

Do not stack two paid trials by accident

eMeals and The Dinner Daily both use 14-day trials that collect a card. Plan to Eat’s 14-day trial does not. Carby’s web yearly trial is 3 days. Cancel the old app in its own settings. Deleting an iPhone app does not cancel an App Store subscription.

If you paid through Apple, refunds and cancels go through Apple. Web charges follow that vendor’s terms: Carby 30-day web refund, Plan to Eat 60-day, eMeals no refund after trial, Dinner Daily no refund after trial.
